Rowe Elementary School Makes a Splash in Springfield

Gov. RaunerOn Tuesday, March 8th and Wednesday, March 9th, five Rowe Elementary School parents participated in a van trip to Springfield with the goal of meeting with state representatives and policy leaders. In a span of a mere 36 hours, Rowe parents met with multiple representatives to discuss Rowe's mission, vision and success. In the spirit of advocating for our scholars and educating our state leaders, Rowe moms even secured a meeting with Governor Rauner to discuss our school, Northwestern Settlement and the multitude of accomplishments of various Settlement programs.

Alliance for Strong Families and Communities President Speaks at Rowe

Susan DreyfusOn Wednesday, January 13th Rowe Elementary School hosted Susan Dreyfus , president of the Alliance for Strong Families and Communities, as a keynote speaker. Susan spoke to the work that Rowe Elementary and Northwestern Settlement do as high impact work tasked with reducing the number of people living in poverty; increasing the number of people with opportunities to live healthy lives; and increasing the number of people with access to educational and employment success.
