High School Readiness/Support
At Rowe Elementary we pride ourselves in ensuring that our scholars matriculate into high performing high schools in the city and the nation. However, our ultimate goal is ensuring that our scholars can successfully navigate the road to and through college graduation.
High School matriculation is a very important step in our scholar’s academic career. Therefore, aside from having a full time Director of High School Readiness and Alumni Success we have developed a high school readiness program to help our scholars and their families have the support systems necessary to navigate through the application process and can make a successful transition to high school.
In addition to incorporating high school readiness into our middle school culture, Our readiness program consists of:
– advisory lessons
– parent workshops
– one-on-one parent meetings and guidance from application to matriculation.
There are many additional resources on the web to further assist with learning more about particular programs, schools or the selction process of these.
Please check this site periodically for updates on important dates or announcement relating to 8th graders or high school matriculation.
Please check this calendar periodically for application deadlines, testing dates and open house dates.
