Our Principals

Rowe Elementary School Principal

Alyssa Wilson

I graduated with a degree in Elementary Education and have been a classroom teacher for ten years. Seven of those years, I have been a proud Rowe teacher. I’ve truly loved being in the classroom and watching my scholars grow each day. When the opportunity arose to become principal, I knew that I could support more scholars on an even greater scale. I am confident that I can excel at this new role of being your principal, but am also aware that I have a lot to learn while doing so. Please know that I will always welcome both scholars and families to come to me to problem-solve, ask questions, or simply say hello. It has been my pleasure and great honor to teach many of your kids throughout the years.

Rowe Middle School Principal

Chasity Beckless

I graduated with a Masters degree in Elementary Education from DePaul University and an EDS in Curriculum and Instruction from North Central University. I’ve served eleven years in the field of education in a variety of roles that have helped me gain experience in the classroom, leadership, Human Resources, and in teacher professional development. The leadership experiences led me to pursue my Masters in Administration and Leadership with a principal certificate. After I obtained my principal license, I was an instructional coach and an Assistant Principal in Champaign, IL.

Last year I began as the new Assistant principal of Rowe Middle School. I’ve enjoyed my short time at Rowe and I am excited to begin this journey in partnership with families, staff, and scholars. As the principal of Rowe Middle School, I utilize my past experiences and educational background to ensure scholar success. I believe in education and my personal journey through education as a lifelong learner informs my philosophy of education and my passion to see our scholars reach their full potential. I look forward to meeting and partnering with all of our current and prospective families.
